Zeke Villarreal

Project: Photothermal Radiometry

Ezekiel (Zeke) Villarreal is a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Utah State University in 2016. His current research focuses on the modification of PhotoThermal Radiometry (PTR) techniques for application in measuring the thermal characteristics of nanoelectronics.
His previous research experience includes transient boiling heat transfer phenomenon and advanced composite materials, including spider silk and plant fiber composites. Zeke has a wonderful wife and two young children who have been a tremendous support and motivation to him throughout his academic career.
